The only thing I wish more people knew about me is that I'm an adult with multiple sexual preferences! When it comes to my own private life, however, I tend to keep everything very secret. Here are some things you probably don't know about me:

I enjoy reading erotica - even though there's never anything sexual in any of these stories. Most of the time, I prefer fiction over non-fiction because I feel as if this type of writing has more credibility and trust in readers. If I want to read something like Harry Potter or Pretty Little Liars, then I'll pick up a novel instead. And who doesn't love a good steamy romance? After all, if they're getting together for real, chances are they're going to have sex eventually – so why not enjoy the experience while seeing what goes on through their eyes?

I'm also a big fan of fantasy novels – I particularly love Anne Rice's Divergent series, especially her books A Court of Thorns & Roses and Evermore. She can do anything she wants, but she still keeps her characters real and relatable. In terms of movies, I really love Tom Baker's Dracula, which was directed by Tobe Hooper and released in 2013. It features such iconic elements as Count Dracula (played by Richard Gere) and his vampire alter ego Count Orlok (played by Colin Firth). But I've got to admit, as much as I like the movie, I never get around to watching it again. For some reason, I just find myself always avoiding it. My reasons are pretty straightforward: when I see the poster for the film in theaters, I immediately forget it. But hey, at least we got Twilight!

I'm pretty sure most people have heard of Star Wars, Star Trek, or Doctor Who; these three franchises have been my lifeline in pop culture ever since I started playing video games. As someone who loves sci-fi, Star Wars has been one of my favorite franchises since childhood. But as far as modern-day sci-fi, Star Trek hasn't quite lived up to its initial reputation. Thankfully, I've found newer favorites, like Firefly, Star Trek Beyond, and Stargate; these stories offer new adventures and different perspectives to old-school fans. And I guess you could call them out the door as well – I've certainly had fun rewatching Voyager, which offers original stories that have captivated audiences for years. Plus, I've played Dungeons and Dragons before, and after playing the game for a few years, the latest installment added a D&D component into it, bringing along a lot of new rules and mechanics. This isn't a bad thing at all, because those are actually great additions to be included into the franchise. They make the whole thing more interesting and engaging.

I adore horror films, too – especially those from the 30s and 40s – and I've become obsessed with the macabre subculture, too. So many people have tried and failed at becoming ghosts/vampires, so there are plenty of opportunities to explore that world without fear. To give you an example, I like the idea of having both vampires and zombies roaming the halls, and the sheer thrill of finding yourself alone in the dark with your friends who turn out to be undead. There's a fascination with death and decay that transcends our regular worries – and I think that gives us a sense of wonder that can't be replicated across any medium.

Lastly, although I'm not religious, I do believe in afterlife and reincarnation. Not necessarily religious in a way that leads to heaven, but I think that everyone's opinions are unique. You might not feel the same way as someone else, but rest assured that you can always come back and try again in another form. Some of my favorite memories include visiting the ocean and meeting various sea creatures, or spending time floating in space with my best friend. I'll say that I'm starting to regret losing touch with the past, however; there's simply nothing more nostalgic than being transported back in time. That's why I'm trying to maintain the link between the present and future.
